Kanye West at the VMA's

Last night on the VMA'S, Taylor Swift won the award for the best music video, and somewhere in the middle of her speach, Kanye West came out of nowhere, and basically told her that she didn't deserve it, and that Beyonce' did. Of course everyone was livid and outraged, but is anyone actually surprised? This is the same guy who said that he would inherit Michael Jackson's title as the "king of pop", While all of his claims are not as ridiculous as this, I'm not really surprised that he did this. The man obviously has no care or regard for social norms... maybe he has Aspergers Syndrome? Who knows, regardless, there isn't really an excuse to go up there during someone elses speech and interrupt them. Now. With that said, I think that it's time to hear the other side.
I'll reitterate that a lot of people are angry at Kanye for what he did, but are we going to make this into one of those big deals that don't need to be, or will we let it die? I mean, its not as if the award was taken away from her or anything, and Beyonce' actually did help her out after the whole ordeal, and she did get a standing ovation. Also, again, should we really be surprised at some the things that Kanye West does? Should we care? In this case, I don't think so. I'm sorry for Taylor Swift and all, but really, lets not blow this out of proportion.
